4 Steps to the perfect nude lip.

Hi guys,
I love a good sexy nude lip. It’s absolutely one of my favorite things especially when paired with a neutral eye and winged eyeliner. I love it and I’m going to show you guys how I do mine. Enjoy!

Step 1:
Use a primer on your lips. This helps your lipstick to last longer. It also helps your lip liner to hold better and stops your lipstick from feathering into the creases around your mouth. I use concealer from MAC in NC45 and apply with a beauty blender.

Step 2: Line your lips with a nude liner. I’m using Cork from MAC. It’s a little darker then my lipstick and I made that choice because my lipstick is very pale. Just a little too pale for the nude shade I wanted. I used the liner to darken the lipstick once it’s applied.

Step 3: Apply your nude lipstick and blend blend blend it with your liner. Unless you’re going for an ombré look your liner should be undetectable. I used e.l.f. Matte Lip Color in Nearly Nude.

Now, if you want a matte nude then stop right here because your done!

However if you want a juicy nude with some shine then proceed!

Step 4: Add a flat nude gloss over your work. I used my favorite flat cream gloss by NYX Mega Shine Lip Gloss in Natural

I was really pleased with how it turned out.

Here’s the eye makeup that I paired with it:
All neutral shades and I added contrast with a dark contour shade in the outer crease and winged liquid liner.
